whereagles
Now ♠6, else declarer will be able to setup a spade. This can hardly cost. I think it's probably the same regardless...
Gerben42
Not a ♠, pd will be ruffing our sure trick. I lead a ♣.
ASkolnick
I'm with the club return as well. Knock out West club control. Your spade is always coming and you can't give two ruffs with no outside entry.
Fluffy
I also played a club, but I think after countign a bit it is wrong. Partner must have 1354 or 1345, given that he didn't raise 2♣ it is more likely that he has 1354 (not for sure). If he has 1354 declarer is 3523, and has a discard from diamonds for his last spade!. [hv=n=sxhxxxda10xxxckqxx&w=s10xxhakxxxdqxcaxx&e=saj9xhjxxxdkjxcxx&s=skqxxxhqdxxxcjxxx]399|300|[/hv] A spade return might be awful when partner holds ♣AQxxx, but only because it blows our entry. But the free ruff is almost impossible that blows a trump trik for partner given dummy's holding and ours.
