ArtK78
Yuck! Opposite as little as KQJTxxx and a stiff club, 6♠ is easy. Quite frankly, opposite KQJTxxx and out 6♠ has a lot of play. I would bid 5♠. It is an unambiguous trump quality ask. I am taking a risk of getting too high but the chance of getting to a making slam is too much to ignore. Could you have AKQTxxx and out for your preempt at this vul? Then a grand is odds on.

The 5♠ bid says that everything else is under control, but all that matters is the spade suit. So, KQTxxxx is not good enough. 4NT RKCB will not get you the information that you need. jtfanclub
So, KQTxxxx is not good enough. Is that standard?
whereagles
I'll bid 5♠ if pard takes it as "Got sing/void trump and rest is solid. Bid pass/6/7 accordingly." If there's a chance he won't get the message, I'll just play the odds and bid 6♠ if he's solid or 4NT if he's junior-like.

I'll have to discuss this 5♠ bid with my partner. Our system description says: Jump to 5-level asks for an extra value. eg: J of trump; Q in side suit, ...(We play this system - from the good player mentioned in other post - for fun. Didn't discuss it to this detail/point).
Fluffy
5♠ can be a preemptive raise, so lets start over with 4♣, and then bid 5♠. Partner could bid 5♣ and we could then try to play 7♥.
