Important suggestions

HI, I´m a bridge professor and I would like to suggest these improvements to this marvelous software:

1) it would be nice to have the option of copy a part of the chat, or have the option to, it will help a lot in my lessons...for example when you wrote a tip and somehow it went to somebody who said hi...under current circumstances I need to re-type the whole sentence.

2) Very important to have the option (tick in/off) of NOT receiving any team match invitation! Appart from being disgusting to receive one personal invitation after another while writing a lesson or reviewing privately with my student(s) deals played, it happened already twice to me that, being in the middle of written lesson, a match invitation popped up and while I hit enter in my writtings, accepted the match (which I wasn´t intending to do) and thus taken out of my teaching table to the match and have a hard time to leave the match table and reenter my lesson´s table!

At least we could have that the DEFAULT option for hitting ENTER were not ACCEPTING the invitation. Perhaps would be better needing another click before ENTER, to accept it.

If you activate the log chat option, you will find everything you typed in the chat log.

If you rename/move that text file after leaving the BBO-Software, you can use copy and paste to reuse it at another time.

You can copy a message.

Thus if your message went to wrong person, it is no big deal to copy it and send to the correct person.

rightclick on the message (edit: ie person at that message) - and you see the alternatives.

 

Or Im misunderstanding you??

 

 

 

ps: I can witness you are good at teaching and explain. (I do kibitz you sometimes.)

You can copy chat from the BBO regular program. I don't know about the flash version. in the standard BBO version, right-mouse-click on the name of the person that said what you want to copy. One of the options should be "Copy Chat Message"

 

 

as for the invites, my understanding is that many people are quite unhappy with random team invites, I'd imagine they would be very happy to second a suggestion to have a 'decline team games' or 'decline team games from non-friends' checkbox somewhere.
