Similarly, I saw an auction today (am out with head cold) when the North bidder with AKx Kxx AT9x Kxx heard her partner open 1H, receive a 1S overcall from her RHO, and then after her 2D and 2H rebid from pard, rebid 3H to get dropped and miss game for a nine imp loss.
