firmit
EDIT: omg - I MAY NOT KNOW MUCH.... ( read topic-title ! ) Added: E/W uses 5 c major, best minor, 5c M NT. Bidding goes ( east open ):1♣ - X - p - 1♠p - 2♣! - p - 2NTp - 4NT - p - 5♦p - 6♥ - ap lead ♠2 - 10 played to East J. Dummy:K109xxx10xxAJ10x DeclarerxAKQxxxAKJ98x East returns a little diamond, you play ♦A, west playing the ♦7!! Is this a problem or useful information?Hmm - you cash AKQ hearts, a couple more hearts, but no useful information regarding points. Added:East showed up with Jxx of hearts, pitching a club and spade after 5 rounds of hearts. West pitching two spades and a club + 2 hearts. Now what?? ♣ to A, ♦10 from table.... small from East - now what? What is the best line to play for?
CSGibson
Any useful distributional information? Who had 3 hearts? Who pitched what? Was the little diamond the smallest available? Do they bid 1NT with 5 card majors? I'd finnesse not knowing anything more than what you gave me.
