Hidden continuation: Over four hearts I bid five diamonds ... this feels completely horrible and the fact that I'm willing to do it should perhaps talk me out of my initial pass. Nevertheless. I agree with Arend. I would overcall 3♦. Hidden continuation: When 4H comes back to me, I will bid 4NT. This way I have emphasized diamonds. With 2-3 in the minors, advancer should go for diamonds. If I overcall, I will be either pulling penalty doubles or pard's spade bids. While I agree that this hand has potential, it isn't getting passed out. We have discusses situations like this before - while the hand has plenty of playing strength partner will think you have a real overcall if you bid and you will likely end in a hopeless contract if she has values.
