Blofeld
5♥ is clearly not a serious option. 4NT just misrepresents the hand. I'd like to pass, but I've got too much stuff. So by elimination, double it is. Not very pretty, but has several ways to work.
jdonn
Double, our hand is too good so we are forced to take a chance. I try to remember this next time from the other side when I am picturing partner on that perfect 1444 hand we need for slam.
Guest Jlall
Last time I had a hand like this I passed in tempo and partner had a balanced 12 and we went +150  This hand is a little better than the one I had for offense though and we'll have some chance if partner bids 5D to make it I hope so I'll double. Passing is better than people are giving it credit for though I think.
Fluffy
This time partner had a yarborough 4333 and obviously pass was the big winner. Doubling leads to 11 tricks for the oppoennts (RHO is 7141) while bidding is -800 at least.
whereagles
I would pass because pard, who's likely to be short in hearts, will dbl on any excuse (after which I'll bid 6♥).

rogerclee
While x is the obvious answer, it has the flaw that partner might pull to 5D, which you don't really want to deal with. By giving up on a juicy penalty, you can pass to semi-insure a plus score. I personally think that's kind of chicken and think I'll risk a double, but it's definitely not clearly wrong. Of course, opener might actually have his bid, but that never happens these days anyway.
