A 2/1 may promise a rebid, but I think you have an easy one.

2 may take us too high if it's a misfit and p for some reason doesn't pass 3, but I think 1NT is riskier.

I would be more comfortable with a forcing pass followed by 3, though. (Edit: sorry this doesn't make sense, the two things mean the same Dunno what I was thinking).

Definitely 4. Opener is top of his minimum range when he didn't pass 3. My hand is pretty useless as dummy in 3NT. In 4, however, I will often be able to play this suit for one loser opposite a singleton.

If opener has a singleton or void in hearts *and* a minimum, get a new partner. A common mistake is to "save" partner when they have a misfit, especially a void. Don't!

Far too often have I seen opener bid forever because he doesn't like responder's suit. A good player would pass 3 without hesitation.

OK so you bid 2, followed up by 3 over 2. Pd bids 3NT. 4 or not 4?

4H, I have a 7 carder.

The 7th heart made this a 2H bid,

and thats why you have to play 4H,

because your hearts maay not run

and you have no side entry.

With kind regardss

PS: And I agree, 3NT shows add. strength or

heart tolerance, and tolerance means 2 cards.
