How to find messages posted

I have trouble locating a message (added to a topic) I posted recently. I'm sure there's a way, but I don't know how.

Also, how to change my settings so I can get notification if somone has replied to my message. I used to have that function but with the recent changes, something was altered and I don't have that capability anymore.

Thanks!

To find all your post, simply click on your own name... a menu will pop up (this works for others as well), and click the option to "find all post by this member". Don't be afraid of this, even if you have a lot of post, it displays the first page of them fairly quickly... I know because it is no problem when I do this looking for one of my own and I have more post than most. :) :) :)

A more selective way is to click onthe SEARCH word at the top of the screen. A new screen opens.. enter your name as the user and some word or words in the topic you are searching for. When searching, note the default is for the last 30 days, you may want to go down and increase that. Also, if can search all subforums or selected ones. If you don't know where it was posted, be sure the where to search is everywhere...not just, advanced and Expert discussion for example.

To change the settings on any one topic it is easy. Below the topic is a icon that looks like a page, click on that and new selections pop open dealing with just that thread. You can also click the "MY control" link at the top of the page where you see that you are logged on as yourself. When your controls open up, there are a lot of options along the side dealing with topics like subscribing to a discussion group. Etc.
