goobers Posted December 22, 2007 Report Share Posted December 22, 2007 Club length is likely with W, either clubs have to break 4-4, or you need the suit to block. I would duck twice.... I will not play W to have led from AQJxx(x) since I think he would be more worried about leading the suit, not to mention he would have overcalled if he had 6. Grasping at straws here.... Good opponents rarely lead the queen from QJxxx, but QJ9xx is possible (although low from that holding is also very common). So against good opponents I would likely play the king at trick 2.
