Al_U_Card
Wednesday night fight (as usual) The auction proceeds 1NT-p-2C-p-2D-p-2H-p ???[hv=d=s&v=n&s=sqxxhajxdaqxxcaxx]133|100|Scoring: MP[/hv] Your cc shows 15-17 NT, phony stayman (4 suit transfers), garbage stayman and Smolen. P_Marlowe
Pass. Depends of course on the meaning of a 2S call instead of the 2H call. With kind regardsMarlowe
whereagles
2♠ because I'll be declaring :)
Fluffy
If not a regular partner I pass If I know he has 4-4 in the majors for sure I prefer to play in 2♠ because I prefer slow trump tricks than on the side-suit
Apollo81
There's no inherent quality about this hand that lends itself to any call but pass. Partner would bid this way, for instance, with xxxx xxxxx x xxx.
paulg
Assuming that 2♥ is bid with all major shapes (44, 45, 54, 55), Michael Rosenberg recommended (during vugraph) bidding 2♠ on all hands except those with 2 spades and 3 hearts. Unfortunately he did not have sufficient time to elaborate. Paul

In that event, complete 2♠ because you like clubs.

Gerben42
Assuming that 2♥ is bid with all major shapes (44, 45, 54, 55), Michael Rosenberg recommended (during vugraph) bidding 2♠ on all hands except those with 2 spades and 3 hearts. Unfortunately he did not have sufficient time to elaborate. Paul One reason is that with this strategy partner may now bid 2NT with 34xx and an almost-invitational hand. I've seen a top French pair bid like this. 1NT - 2♣2♦ - 2♥2♠ - 2NTPass +
helene_t
Pass. P could be 4-5 but not 5-4.
