Walddk
I thought we have had our last vugraph broadcast in 2007, but no. Three more to come actually, the first one being the Channel Trophy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Utrecht (headquarters of the Dutch Bridge Federation). The Channel Trophy is an event involving the Netherlands, England, Belgium and France. There will be three competitions: Under 25, U-20, and for the first time U-25 Women. Always nice to have the juniors in action. Enterprising auctions guaranteed, but make no mistake: these guys and gals can actually play! Don't miss it. No news on that one ??? Alain I'm afraid not. That does not mean that we won't be broadcasting, but I have not been contacted by the FFB or Hervé Lustman. paulg
Hopefully the vugraphing will be mainly the U25 teams....i dont want my U20 debut to go badly and be seen :PLike everyone who appears on vugraph, you have earned the right to be there. The commentators, and kibitzers, are either old people, foreigners or those you have beaten to be there. Getting experience of vugraph when young is to your advantage, something no other generation has really had, so try to relax, enjoy it and be confident that you are in the right place. Good luck! Gerben42
No one expects you to play flawlessly. Not even the commentators (although sometimes it may seem that way :P). Just enjoy the experience and learn from it. You cannot possibly be worse than I was the first time on VG.
Walddk
No one expects you to play flawlessly. That's exactly why commentators are requested to be nice. Pointing out errors is fine, but we don't condone rudeness. No player makes an error intentionally. Roland
brianshark
I remember my first vugraph appearance as well and that 6♠ I didn't bid! Ugh! :P
joker_gib
Hopefully the vugraphing will be mainly the U25 teams....i dont want my U20 debut to go badly and be seen :) Novices, intermediates, advanced, expert and world class are far better when they know the 4 hands ! Only those who never made an error can throw you the first stone... :D Good luck Gizzy ! :P Alain
