gwnn
Since both Celtic and AC Milan knew at the half that Benfica was winning 2-1 at the half in the other game, it rather took the pressure off both teams playing at the San Siro. What if Donetsk pulled off a ManYoo and scored 2 in injury time? :PTheoretically they could have, so everyone on the Celtic bench was a little bit on edge till the very end, but it didn't happen. I guess in order to pull a ManU you have to be ManU (or Porto, which scored a stoppage time goal against ManU the year they won the Cup). or Spain in 2000 vs Yugoslavia :o? An American living in Japan who knows a lot about real football (soccer), even European. I don't know half as much about football in the Far East. slothy
I bet you know a lot about Sumo wrestling though Rolly? (they have brought this hallowed, Royal sport to a local pub near where i live...the only difference is that the participants are women, wear no clothes and the going is a bit muddy)

I am happy to learn that you got women involved in the UK. My only wish is that they are bit slimmer than the guys in Japan. Roland

Once you said to kibitzers, you achived 1,24 m in pole vault, and that is a great result if we know that the best among the chessplayers jumped world record = only 1,09 m :) :) Robert

RolandSumo wrestling is sometimes called the "national sport" of Japan (actually baseball is the most popular sport in Japan by far, maybe followed by soccer), but sumo in Japan has been racked by a series of match-rigging scandals of late. Nothing sportsmanlike about the dumping here.

Impressed or not? :D Roland
