Guest Jlall
imps, expert opps, they play a strong club system. You hold Kx T9xxx Axx Axx. RHO opens 1S, you X, XX on your left, pass 4S on your right all pass. Your lead? No comments on the X please, you are stuck a bit (not a huge amount) and thought it was a reasonable way to create some action without being totally crazy. helene_t
I will lead one of my aces. The problem with hearts is that if declarer has a choice, he will take the finese over me.
Codo
I nver lead unsupported aces, but this time I will. I like my chances that declarer will play me for the wrong hand after the bidding and the lead.I will take a club, because diamonds are a girls best friend. And I am no girl. Apollo81
Pick an ace randomly and lead it.
whereagles
I have no problem with a heart.
bhall
About now you are wishing that you didn't lead A from AK... :P
mike777
low spade. plan on pulling trumps if the ace is on my left. If not this may not have been my best option. :P
pclayton
I started with a heart, went to a random ace and I'm back to a heart. With trump control and heart length, theres only so many pitches he can take off dummy's (presumed) hearts.
mikeh
I'm leading a non-systemic low heart: looking like Hxxx if possible, rather than a 5 card suit. Heck, I already made an offbeat double, so I'll keep going with my Zia impersonation. Mainly because I don't know which Ace to lead :)
bid_em_up
So I'll keep going with my Zia impersonation. Mainly because I don't know which Ace to lead B) I think Zia would lead the spade 2. Given that RHO has shown long semi-solid spades, its practically impossible for him to drop the King the next round after the 9 or 10 wins in dummy initially. He will take the spade finesse into our hand. Now we have seen dummy before having to choose which ace to lead. This likely gives us three tricks, and if declarer has a two way heart guess, he is again likely to go wrong. Besides, when in doubt, lead trump. :D
Fluffy
I'd lead a heart without giving it a second though, didn't expect those many votes for random aces.
