You alerted 2 Club, but nobody asked. Lead. Ten of clubs 1. Question: Do you duck or win? 2. If you win and switch to heart. (or do you think about something different)? Do you finesse or try ace and another? If you duck, the king of clubs wins the trick, a low club is returned and ruffed , the nine of Diamond is played and you? Finesse or take the ace? Gerben42
1. Question: Do you duck or win? Looking at my losers, I have one in every suit, three of which may disappear with a finesse. The ♠ loser may disappear on a ♣ discard. After the lead the ♣ finesse looks off, so I win and take a ♥ finesse. This loses and a ♦ comes back. I finesse that also. If that one is also off I am down 1 but I have taken optimal chances to try and make an overtrick, because if the ♦ finesse wins, I now draw trumps and play ♣J, discarding a ♠ on the high ♣Q.
