1eyedjack
When a player is unable to receive chat by reason of being a player in a tourney, I think that the software should still allow you to leave chat by mail, ie in the same way as if they are offline. Tola18
Yes, a good suggestion and useful improvement. One should also be asked if one want to sent the chat anyway, to be read next time the receiver logs in. some chat you want delivered, no matter what time. Other are useful now, not later. Guest Jlall
I agree with this too, many times I would have found this useful.
inquiry
Click on the chat button. Type the name of the player you want ot leave mail for (they are in a tournament) into the leave mail for name box above the chat line. Type your message on the chat line. helene_t
Yes, but what Jack suggests would be more convenient.

Uff, I missed that workaround. Obvious. Sorry, ignore the OP, there are more important things to do, such as overhauling the team game setup (although I guess that Flash is taking up all resources at present)
bid_em_up
Click on the chat button. Type the name of the player you want ot leave mail for (they are in a tournament) into the leave mail for name box above the chat line. Type your message on the chat line. I could be mistaken but I think if you do it this way, they will not get the message until the next time they log in. Delivery would be preferable when that person finished the tourny, if possible somehow.

zielona
Agree that ability to receive the mail at the nearest opportunity should/could be placed on a future enhancements wish list but the more immediate problem for me is that I often lose elaborately composed message when a person I am writing to has just been pulled into a tournament. When that happens the message is completely lost - there is no option to send it via mail and no record in the chat file.Is it possible to add the option popup for this situation, similar to when a person logs out of the BBO? helene_t
Ultimately, the OS (or the Flash player) should solve the problem with text that gets typed and gets lost. It happens in many situations in many applications.
