HeavyDluxe
Very, very minor suggestion... Is it possible to add a 3rd - or, depending on you perspective, 4th - person flag? Currently, other BBO players can be flagged as neutrals, friends, or enemies. It would be great if there was a 4th coding we could apply. For me, I'd use it to mark people I like to kibitz... That way, I could see, separate from my friends, that I have the option of depressing myself by watching someone decent (I'd list names, but don't want anyone to feel excluded). That said, the flag could be left 'undefined' so player could use for any number of other things... Perhaps some will want to have 1st and 2nd tier friends, or players who are always up to fill in team games but you want to remember to put on the other team... Just a thought. helene_t
I mark them as friends - any problems with that? You can use player notes - friends sometimes get a "nice person but bad player" note, or a "speaks Dutch" note. Occasionaly I have made notes about style so that I can make compatible partnerships for team matches. As for enemies, it might be useful to distinguish between players from whom I don't want to receive chat, and players with whom I don't want to play. (The latter category could be auto-rejected if they invite me, or if I'm asked to sub for their partner). As it is, I only enemy-flag players for anti-social behaviour, not for bad bridge. Novices posing as epxerts just get a "no expert" note. No high priority, though. I don't currently have a need to block chat from enemies. Helene, Just to clarify my point - I'm a borderline O/C filer. :) I *do* have these people marked as friends right now, but I'd just be interested in having them separated out. Again, hardly a big deal. And yes, player notes are an awesome feature for which I'm very grateful...
Tola18
I second this proposal. Although I do manage. I have sacrificed the enemy-class. And blackies are now masters I want to kibitz - or know where they are, but whose I dont expect they are interested in playing or chatting with a humble me. Such a cathegory was more important then having enemies. :)
Trumpace
I mark them as friends, and I usually don't have a problem going through the list finding them (the kibitz-worthy players). Their profile usually contains a star or I usually remember the id.
jtfanclub
I second this proposal. I third it. Actually, I want 5 classes total. -Friends who I want to be notified about when they log in.+Friends who I do not want to be notified about when they log in.-People I don't care about.+People I don't want to play with.-Enemies I want banned from tournaments I direct, and refuse their communications. The two with + would be functionally equivalent to the neutral, just a different color. In my case, I'd use one of the new colors to keep track of my fellow TDs so that I can get help when I need it, and the other color so I could keep certain people from spamming me while still getting messages from people playing in my tournament who I don't want to play with.
