kenrexford
I don't think I've ever seen this before. I got tricky and overcalled a 1♠ opening to my right by bidding 2♣ with ♠KQx ♥108xxx ♦0 ♣AKJxx. LHO bid 2♦, and my partner raised to 3♣. RHO, red, bid 3♥. I doubled. Here's where it gets really funky. LHO redoubled. Partner went into the tank and bid 4♣. RHO bid 4♥. I doubled. LHO passed, partner passed, and RHO corrected himself to 4♠. I doubled. LHO now corrected back to 5♥, passed to me. I doubled. So, 5♥ doubled, down four. This was, of course, critical, as 3♥, redoubled, down two would be only 1000. Hain't ne'er seen nat. gwnn
You mean you haven't seen it ever, or just in a live game? on BBO much worse bridge happens (ok not much worse, but equally bad)
