keylime
1. You have a decent hand but no clear direction. I think you're at a 4.5 ♣ rebid. So I'm going to push on to game then. 5♣. 2. 2NT, if you have Ogust or some shortness ask available. You want to make sure that it's not a 4M-1 hand. 3. Double, takeout, good hand, can do anything pard wants, including pass on 4 trumps or more.
Guest Jlall
1) I would double fast. Partner bid 2S freely so will have a little something (ok KQ seventh and out is possible, too bad), LHO has nothing since they passed over 1D, they are vul, etc. May be different if I knew RHO to be a very good player. 2) "no other discussion" is a problem, I guess I would assume the (imo) silly style where this shows less than a response at the 1 level and pass. 3) I am stubborn, I'll double again :) We don't need any high cards, just some fit, and if we have no fit partner is going to pass and I'll just pray heh. pclayton
On 3 if you double a 2nd time, pard trots 4♣. Pard is a client (int / adv -) if it matters.

Apollo81
On #2 I think you have to at least raise (i.e. don't pass) and #3 seems like an auto double to me at least.
pclayton
1. I doubled which I thought was a little weird at the time. We nicked it, but RHO's clubs weren't as strong as you might have thought. 2. This was pard's hand. He raised to 3♠. Imperfect defense let me make 4 (I'm a 7222 with both black jacks). 3. I decided to bid 3♠ which is pretty sick I know. Pard pulled to 4♣ and I bid a really, really sick 5♣. RHO got into the spirit and made a tentative double. LHO leads the ♥A and RHO plays low so it looks like hearts are 7-3. Plan the play: [hv=d=s&n=sxxh9xxdtxxxcq8xx&s=sakqjhdakxxcj9xxx]133|200|[/hv]
