What's your bid here, and is there any change with different vulnerability? If You have not standard methods -please explain (I realy want to know)!

I don't think that there is much difference between A and B and between C and D.

What you do after the 1S advance depends on agreement. Traditionally the raise to 2S shows game interest but I think quit a number of people play that it doesn't. If it only shows a sound doubler with 4 spades then obviously I'd bid it.

Over 2S I'd try for game by bidding 3S. 4S seems too much, passing seems too little.

I would bid 4 on both A and B unless we are playing a light opening system, in which case I would raise to 3.

Since I play that a raise is obligatory when the doubler has 4 card support, I would bid 2 on both C and D. I don't think that my hand is worth any more than a minimum action after doubling.

clear pass on A and B, on C and D it is also clear unless you wanna psyche

What would you have for a jump to 2 as a passed hand?

Say you passed in first seat or second seat with a hand like one of these, then heard 1 on your left and a double from partner:

KQxxx

Axx

xx

xxx

KQJx

KJx

xxx

Jxx

What's your call? I would certainly bid 2, and both these hands offer good play for game opposite the example double. Unless you would open these hands, or make some other call than 2, shouldn't you at least try 3 with the doubling hand? You do want to bid a game that's on a finesse through opening bidder after all.

I agree with Josh Donn... but I'd be closer to 4 than pass over a 2 jump from partner.

We had this discussion before and will have it again. It simply depends on your style after a double from partner.

In the SEF world, 1 Spade shows 0-7 and about 4 Spades and 2 Spade shows 8-10, exactly 4 Spades. If you play this approach, pass is as easy as a compound squeeze in C and D and the percentage play in A and B.

If you play the other style, where 2 Spade is forward going and can contain hands like Adams examples, you must at least invite with hand A and B.

Adam would you seriously pass your first example? Wouldn't you open 2S?

With eg 2C for 10+, 5-suit next, 2S =10-12, 4S.

Try 1D (cheapest new suit (CNS) below 2S) as an artificial force --an artifact from EFOS system. This clears other bids ambiguity.

Or 1D (CNS) as Herbert neg. This bottoms other bids to a useful 7-8. And, on bust responses lets likely tenaced take out doubler declare low.

I like xfer responses to takeout double. At least xfer to Majors with an odd bid to choose minor. This guarantees a second bid to partition 0-6/8-10/11+ or suit +stop or suit +suit. And super -accepts promote for fit.
