whereagles
I seem to be missing one card. Would still invite, given it's red at imps and I have some fitting cards. (Eventhough it's only 12 of them ^^)
han
Thanks, added a card.
joker_gib
Yes even with 12 cards !
jdonn
I might even bid 3NT. Seriously. IMO passing shows awful evaluation, and I upgrade in general less often than almost all my friends. I'm a little worried about a club lead but otherwise this hand is so money.

Do you have combination with your partner like "invite agressive, accept solid"? if yes is easy invite. 2 extra 10, and one extra 9 tend me to invite. kfay
Definitely invite. Seems quite likely that every lead is favorable to you. Spots are great. Not much to dislike about this hand.
pclayton
I'll invite. Game is a little bit OTT. It probably depends on the strength of pard's club stop to be honest. This is one of the type of 3N's that can make on less than 25-26, because of the power of the intermediates.
skjaeran
I'd never pass here, not even opposite myself. :) This is a powerhouse. I'd invite opposite a light opener, raise to game opposite a more conservative opening style.
gwnn
invite light, accept light :)
matmat
invite light, accept automatically.
han
I had never played with this partner before, I invited and he bid 3NT with Kx AJ9xx xxx AJx, looks like an automatic accept. Not a terrible game red at IMPs but the heart finesse was off, the diamond finesse was off and the opponents found the surrounding play in clubs so it went -2. kfay
I invited and he bid 3NT with Kx AJ9xx xxx AJx 2 ♥A, Han. ♥K? If he has it I wouldn't say it's automatic anymore.
han
Ah yes, it was a 12 count and not automatic I'd say. Yesterday I thought it was a 12-count but when I wrote down the hand just now I thought I was mistaken. So yes, we were in the 22 HCP game down 2. Thoughts? Fluffy
There was a time where you needed 25/26 HCP for 3NT, I miss the old days.

matmat
so, wait, p, the 1n opener, held a 12 count?
han
Partner opened 1H.
kenrexford
The real question is whether partner also upgrades. If so, his maximum is 13. He cannot have a 14-count (worth sh) if he upgrades (as I do). So, although this hand looks quite nice, I'll protect and pass. Oh, WAIT!!! This is IMPs. I have no business being in 3NT, but let's go Baby!
dake50
Investigate with Checkback 2C, then 2NT. Leave last mistake to partner!
P_Marlowe
Hi, ok, I would pass, my first inclination, beforereading the final result, ... but I will keep inmind, that several would invite. I still like to have 25HCP for game and partnerhas at most 14HCP, so overall this makes at most24HCP, but as I said, I am still trying to improve myhand evaluation. With kind regardsMarlowe
