at1839
Hi :) [hv=d=s&v=e&n=s86ha432dat6cakqj&s=sajt753hj9dkj8ct7]133|200|Scoring: IMP[/hv] 6 spades by south, top ♥6 for A - 8 - J. Declarer play 3 club's round and discard ♥, then finesse spade T to west Q.♥Q is returned wich collect 2 - K and ruffed in hand. What now? Is your advice to draw ♥ Ace or finesse (need two entry) ♦ T then finesse again spade? Actual play was ugh, interesting  Declarer finessed ♦ but East was apparently away and didn't took the Q. He was so kind not to ask for an undo, else if proposed by declarer ... Ty in advance for any comment. Paolo, at1839
Rebound
IMO all 4 suits seem to be breaking evenly. I would just cash the ♠A. But I'm no expert. I'd be interested to hear what others have to say.
rbforster
My initial impression was to hook the T♦ and finesse again in spades. Upon reflection though, we are only making when spades are 3-2 anyway. The cases that matter consistent with the first round of spades are LHO RHO ways commentsHx Hxx 6 (need 2nd finesse)Hxx Hx 6 (2nd finesse or play A)HH xxx 1 (play A) At this point it looks like slightly odds on to lay down the A♠ just in the spade suit (7:6). Together with the entry issue and that you can pitch your diamond on the long club if all goes well, I like playing the A much better. The diamond hook line seems much worse, almost as bad as a "practice finesse".
