skjaeran Posted October 6, 2007 Report Share Posted October 6, 2007 You need the spade hook and to discard a spade on the ♦J. At first I can't see much point in ducking the lead, so I take the ace. I need to set up the diamond trick in dummy in time. I guess I'll play off the trump ace (instinctively that seems right to me) before playing a diamond.
