matmat
[hv=d=n&v=e&s=sak9432hakt42dac3]133|100|Scoring: IMPtwo passes to you.[/hv] few questions for this one, do you prefer a 1♠ opening or 2♣? in either case, LHO will make a single weak jump in clubs and this will be passed around to you. [ 1♠-(3♣) ] or [2♣-(4♣)] what is your plan?
Blofeld
With just an 18 count I would tend to open 1♠. I'll then bid 4♥ when it comes back to me. Had I opened 2♣ (which seems OK with this particular 2-suiter) I think I'd bid 4♠ over 4♣.
Fluffy
Obvious 1♠ opening, 2♣ preempts yourself. After 3♣ I'd bid 5♥.
whereagles
Obvious 1♠ opening, 2♣ preempts yourself. After 3♣ I'd bid 5♥. Seems like you're contradicting yourself, Gonzalo :) You don't open 2♣ to keep bidding low, but then shoot 5♥ next round? :)
han
I'd open 1S, planning to rebid 3H (not 4H!). Over 3C I'd rebid 4H.

P_Marlowe
1S, followed by a heart bid, in case the bidding is unoppossed,I jump to 3H. After partner passes, and after the intervention in clubs, I bid4H. With kind regardsMarlowe
pclayton
With no intervening bid I'm planning the 1♠ / 3♥ route. After a WJO, I can't do less than 4♥. 5♥ is a little OTT, although its easy to see how we can have slam opposite one working queen or a yarb with 5 hearts. Is partner ever going to cooperate with a hand like this however? 4♣ is possible but it seems to cloud the auction. Its one of those 'don't try this at home' calls (or at least without a lot of prior discussion).
Blofeld
Sorry, I meant I bid 4♥ after the intervention, not intending to rebid 4 when I open 1♠.
