andy_h
You hold:[hv=d=n&v=b&s=st952ha2d32ck9765]133|100|Scoring: MP[/hv] Playing 2/1, partner is dealer and opens 1♠, and RHO comes in with 2♠ showing ♥+minor. You now bid 3♠ a normal raise and LHO bids 4♥. Partner now bids 4♠ and RHO tanks for about 35 seconds and bids 5♥. Your bid. Would it differ if it was IMPS? X would be for penalties and Pass is NF. helene_t
I would pass but I think it's slightly closer to X than to 5♠.

bid_em_up
I would have bid 4S over 2S.
jdonn
You have exactly what you said you had, no surprises. Partner, on the other hand, has a much wider variation of hand types for 4♠ so the decision is his. Obvious pass.
skjaeran
3♠ was OK for me.Nothing intelligent to add now, so I pass.Partner is better placed to make a decision, and he is the more wide ranged hand.
joker_gib
agree, 3♠ is my hand, rest is for partner Alain
Fluffy
People seem to see it very obvious, but Ace and King is a bit better than expected. I remember on another poll the winner was to raise to 3♥ with a King and a Jack, I hope people who voted 3♥ there don't say we showed everything now :). P_Marlowe
Hi, playing MP, you have to get it right, i.e.what ever you do, depends on the answerof the question, if they did already win theboard with 5H. Playing IMP's I would X, I dont want partner to bid 5S, but my partner is usally not veryhappy with my Xing decisions, ... but he stillplays with me. With kind regardsMarlowe
