sceptic
Hi all I am in a quandry here, I was watching Vu Graph just now and talking to a friend, nothing bridge related just chit chat, she was told off by Vugraph 2 for talking whilst VuGraph was on. 1/. you can not directly talk to a table while watching VuGraph, so how does Vugraph2 know what she was saying? 2/. What exactly was her crime 3/. Do Vugraph people have access to private conversation whilst VuGraph is on?
matmat
my guess is that she accidentally typed to the tablethat generates an automatic message from the vugraph operatorafter that she probably tried to talk to you again, this time pressing CTRL+R to respond, but that then sends a message to the operator. just a convoluted guess, is all... pclayton
She might have been 'unbarred' by a yellow previously to speak as a VG commentator. Frequently the yellows forget to re-bar the player and accidents like this happen. THis happened to me once, but fortunately I didn't say anything stupid to the room  I had Henri immediately bar me for my own good. uday
software blocks civilians from chatting publicly at vug. tables. Exceptions are made for yellow names and commentators. If someone who is not authorized to speak tries to say something, some sort of automated response is sent back ("you are not allowed to speak publicly, blah blah") and this response may well seem to have originated with the table host (the operator).
