Codo
too good to pass.Too bad to bid. Require a redeal. If this is not possible, decide simply correct. I would try 5 ♦, but I am not happy with this bid. I strongly disagree with 4 NT. You need pd minors to be very different to make 5 Club better then 5 Diamond. Pass is a great option. They may go down and if they make you may fail in 5 Diamonds for -1100. But I prefer 5 Diamond. This may make, it can be an insurance if both contract fail and it is not too easy to double. pclayton
I'd double. I would at IMPs too, but at MPs I think its clear. What are you rooting for when pard goes into the tank? Frequently pard will pass (probably good). Sometimes pard will pull to 5♥ which isn't automatically fatal and may be a good result against 4♠, but might be a good spot if pard's suit is sufficiently strong. Frequently pard will bid 4N which sounds great to me even though one of his suits is probably hearts. I just don't think passing here is winning bridge. Guest Jlall
Isn't doubling better at imps than at MP? Anyways I'd X.
pclayton
Isn't doubling better at imps than at MP? Anyways I'd X. *shrug* Perhaps it is more important at IMPs. Pard will take the penalty more often and won't panic about +650 / +500 decisions.

jdonn
Double, partner usually passes which is what will make me happiest. This is way ahead of 5♦, which in turn is way ahead of 4NT (partner will choose clubs with 3-3 or 2-2 in the minors.)
Fluffy
I would had bid 5♦ without a second though, reading all the above isn't making me happy :D

skjaeran
Double, no 2nd choice. Partner will pass most of the time, and I'm happy with that.
whereagles
Dbl is excellent if pard passes, but I'm not so sure he's gonna do that with his expected 3523 or thereabouts. I might try 4NT.
cherdano
Dbl is excellent if pard passes, but I'm not so sure he's gonna do that with his expected 3523 or thereabouts. Uh, he certainly will.
the hog
I certainly don't like 4NT for the reasons already mentioned. Double is a possibility, but like Fluffy and Nuno I think it is naive to assume pd will pass with a 5 card H suit. I will bid 5D and no, I am not happy about it but I think this is the best choice of a poor lot.
