This is a very tough hand. To make slam partner likely needs 3 out of the 4 missing keycards for clubs. We can't count on that and 5S might be too high.

So I'm going ot pick between 4S and 5C. Passing is NOT an option. I'll go with 5C because partner will more likely raise that to slam when it is right.

Not sure if that makes sense.

I don't think it makes sense, I voted for 5 for the same reason, given how tired I am it can't be right.

ROFL.

I agree with 5 too, and it's early morning.....

Why 4, partner could be void in it?

He has to have at least 4 clubs, why is this not the suit of choice? And why only 5? Partner is forcing game when we could still have a 5332 11 count, why not 6 at least?

Also, why did we not open 2? We have 4 losers don't we?

4S, too. 5-level in clubs is too much and I have to give partner some slack as his double at this level is simply card-showing.

The higher the level the less "strict" become the negative double and more of a "too much to pass" nature takes over. Partner is not necessarily forcing to a 5-level game here with his double - he is only saying that opposite your opening bid he has too much in values to allow the opposition to play undoubled.

xx, Kxx, AJ10xx, Kxx is certainly possible.

Now I'm just confused. If you bid 5 he bids 6, and if you bid 6 he bids 7? With 13 hcp and 1 of the top six clubs?

Can I trade him in for a newer model?

Not untill its developed.

Come on, 3 keycards, 5 trumps, and partner doesn't know your 6 bid is mainly based on KQ, andQJ (the cards he also covers), duplication happens, and preempts work.
