gwnn
Opps bid 2NT-3NT and you have to lead from: [hv=d=s&v=b&s=st8hat62dk85cq872]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv]
mr1303
Club. A of hearts is an entry to our established clubs. I can't say the same about the Q of clubs.
Halo
Heart. If dummy is weak, no free entries in clubs.
awm
I'll try a spade. Partner is a big favorite to hold four (or even five) spades on the auction (okay it's possible declarer has five and dummy has three) and this lead is not likely to give declarer anything he can't get on his own. I've found that leading away from honors into the strong hand often doesn't fare well, and that while it's possible we need to be aggressive here, people bid enough thin 3NTs that passive defense can easily beat the contract. As usual, I don't mind so much failing to find the only lead that sets the contract, but I hate making the only lead that allows the contract to make. :(
han
Heart. Would be a lot tougher if I didn't have the heart 10.
