kgr
1H-(2C)-2S-(P)?You hold 6-card H and 15HCP, e.g.:Qx-AQxxxx-AKx-xxand open 1H (5+card), LHO overcalls 2C and partner bids 2S forcing (10+HCP, 5+ card S).What is the best bid now? whereagles
Dunno what's best, but I like 3♣. You'll rebid hearts next or support spades.

All votes for 3C so far.- What should partner bid with ♥Hx and ♣ stop; eg: AJxxx-Kx-xxx-Kxx or QT9xx-Kx-xxx-AQx- You probably have to pass if partner bids 3NT? Partner makes a delayed raise with only a single club stop. He knows that I will bid 3NT with one more stop, or make a delayed spade raise.
