Confused? Well, South pulled the wrong card from the bidding box and opened 2NT!? One can understand that North raised to 7. The contract was rigid. What did East and West have? Rossoneri
stiff K♠ (2 spade tricks)QJ♥ ( 3 hearts)Qx♣ (4 clubs) RHO holds KJ♦ (3 Dimes) With a heart - Diamond squeeze for the 13th trick Thought of that as well...but can't seem to find a plausible layout for the squeeze to operate.... 8 ♠s in 1 hand is a lot... West is squeezed in clubs and diamonds.(ii) If he pitches a diamond, you can play to the ♦T, back to the ♥T and cash the diamond, squeezing West in clubs and hearts.(iii) If he pitches a club, then you cash all three clubs, catching West in a criss-cross squeeze in the red suits.
