More then my normal 12-14 balanced hand pd expects. xxx,AQJxx,Kx,xxx produces slam without a finesse and pd may not be able to do something sensible. I have always considered this hand not good enough, but I get sick at how often it works when done against me. You Open 1♠, partner bids a forcing 1NT, and then RHO steps in with 3♦. What's your call? Very similar, except the obvious four-level force. The majority (14) passed; one bid. A few would have doubled with Kxx in clubs. This hand seems similar. I don't like AQ in my diamond suit, but I do like the two Kings.
