Editing BBO Movie *.lin files

Hi Folks

Help ..............all computer buffs out there.

I have composed a movie file with 8 hands in it..... for use on a teaching table.

 

But....I would like to edit the dealer/vulnerability etc so that South for example is always the dealer on all 8 hands and doesn't have to keep moving after each hand.

 

So....is there an easy way to edit BBO Movie files.

You can edit the files, but if my memory serves me correctly, the teaching table takes the first hand given as board one (north dealer, non vul), second hand as board 2 (dealer East, Vul NS), etc.

 

If you want to try to set someone else as dealer, you can. You will find the text md|xSyyyHyyy...| which describes the deal. The number represented by the "x" after the md command tells who is dealer. 1=south, 2=west, 3=north, 4=east if memory serves correctly. There is also a command for vulnerability, sv|z| where Z can be o = none, n = ns, E = EW, B = both
