sheilafran
I hope someone out there can help me. My partner and I play a variation of power precision and 2/1. In spite of going through the online help I cannot get a convention card. It would be appreciated if someone could give me a step by step instruction of how to do the convention card so tht one's bid are explained on the screen. I am not stupid - I find the explanation in the help impossible to follow Thanks so muchSheila
Walddk
Dear Sheila, Of course you are not stupid, but instead of going through the Help section, there is a much simpler way of getting to a convention card. On your toolbar (bottom of your screen), 4th button from the left, you will see CONV. in white print on green background colour. Click on it and a window will appear. From there you have different options. You will, among other things, find Default Convention Cards, but you are also able to create one of your own. Just remember to save it when you are done. At any time you can edit all you like. Again, every time you edit you also need to save the revised version. Hope this is helpful. pbleighton
A couple of things to add to what Roland said: When you click the CONV button, you will get 3 choices. Pick the top one, old style cc. Then you will get a window. Click Open. You will get a Windows Explorer pick box. Select a default cc by double clicking it. When you are back at the window, click Use. This will show the card to your pd and the opps. You can make any changes you want, then click Save. You will get the Windows Explorer pick box again. Type the name you want (i.e. MySuperDuperprecision). The next time you play, just select, then use. Your pd can get the card on his machine by saving it.
