Finch
Club. p.s. the auction doesn't make any sense at all.Opener bid a non-forcing 5C, then over simple preference was suddenly worth 6D?

cherdano
if i lead anything but a heart, my partner will have grounds to shoot me. ????I lead a club, and I am sure my partner won't shoot me. The 6S bid after the non-forcing 5D also looks highly dubious, to say the least.
jdonn
Club. p.s. the auction doesn't make any sense at all.Opener bid a non-forcing 5C, then over simple preference was suddenly worth 6D? Lol I think responder's bidding makes even less sense. He preferenced back to 5♦ instead of rebidding spades, but decided to play in spades after all when opener said he wanted to play slam in diamonds? I see 6♦ was doubled by the potential opening leader, but even so how is this possible?
ralph23
I don't know, except this is about the craziest auction I've ever seen !! Correcting 6♦ to 6♠, after raising ♦ on a simple preference, is not comprehensible, at least to me.
SoTired
Aw comeon.... personally, on this bidding i think leading a racket or a wheel will set this contract. i can't believe my lead makes much difference. but after noticing all those D's (I thot they were P's), it appears partner doubled clubs for a club lead originally. So i might change my vote to a club.
