han
This is strange, we high cards are roughly split, we have a huge double fit and likely so do they, yet RHO passed over 3NT. I suspect that we can take exactly 10 tricks but I'm still bidding 5C because (1) we might just make it, and (2) there is a good chance that RHO would bid over 4C, and I don't like that. ArtK78
5♣. Partner, as a passed hand, would not be entering the auction here with 5-5 with mediocre minor suits. He must be 6-5 with something like: xxKJxxxxAQxxx Obviously, it is not clear which is his 6-card suit, although given that I hold the AQ of diamonds, I suspect that diamonds is his 6-card suit. The tougher question is what do you do if the opps bid 5♥ or 5♠? I would bid one more. Slam might even make if partner is 2-0 in the majors and they lead the wrong one. It could even be cold if partner is void in hearts. It is also possible that partner is 6-6, in which case slam is cold. But I am not playing him for 6-6. pclayton
5♣. I'm letting them play 5M. We did our job.
Gerben42
Gotta agree with the panel so far. Make the bid after which we don't know what their right move is. Obviously if I bid 4♣ they will correctly bid on, and if I bid 6♣ they will correctly Dbl me. 5♣

Cascade
Partner, as a passed hand, would not be entering the auction here with 5-5 with mediocre minor suits. He must be 6-5 with something like: xxKJxxxxAQxxx That looks like a mighty fine opening bid to me.

So maybe he decided that the best way to show his hand was to back into the auction. I have seen stranger things at the bridge table.
