Previously when I needed to chat with co-directors I use messenger/icq etc. (generally only ask friends there to cohost with me, and this is a main reason.) A real chore to scroll 5 times to get to director "Yxer" each time you need to speak to him. btw suggestion was for one director to speak with another, and not for tourney players to chat easily to directors. etherwiz Posted February 4, 2004 Report Share Posted February 4, 2004 I think a CHAT Line Item (Directors for Tourney) would be very usefull, but would give TD's another thing to look out for while TDing. It would definately be a bad idea to give that to players (as some are allready calling another director if they disagree witha ruling already made by someone else). Why in the world do you need to talk to them all at once. One director should be able to handle your problem. Sometimes it seems players are like the little child whose one parent tells them "no" to something then they run to another parent. spwdo Posted February 5, 2004 Report Share Posted February 5, 2004 hi, the list u mentionen beeing in chatbox besides lobby tournament runs quickly full when u have been privating to others( i get a lot of privates messages during tourney, just people saying thank you at start to name one, the least i replie is gl), a direct call( to specific td or group) would be handy to redirect calls when u`re busy handling a score adjust or similar things so u cant rush to that table , second it would be nice to rule togheter or discuss a problem that occured in a tourney, and exscpecially for directors on their first steps so they can communicate with an experienced one, i had mike(trpltrbl) to help me out, still gratefull for that but it isnt easy when u new and have noone to talk to i think greetings marc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

While we do not need this Calling all tds thing very often it is far superior to scroll through many lines trying to find other co-directors or joining tables so I may locate fellow co-directors... maybe add little list box so we can easily click names?
