valicia Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 When a player subs in an individual tourney, they very often inherit a pretty ugly score from their predecessor. I think it would be nice for the person who left to retain their ugly score, and the person subbing have their score determined from the hands they actually play, with averages over the hands that they did not play. This would make it more attractive for players to sub. As it stands now, you don't even know what terrible scores you might inherit. Furthermore, inheriting another players bad scores distorts the sub's own average overall, and creates a false picture of that player's performance.
