gwnn
what's wrong with x?
helene_t
I think dbl should show a much stronger hand. 2♦ is fine if partner expects such a weak hand (on the basis of the theory that a much stronger hand would double again). In the absence of discussion I would pass, though.

Finch
Acting here is asking to go for a huge penalty.Partner heard your first double.
TimG
what's wrong with x? It tries to tell the same story twice.
Halo
Pass. There is too much chance that double is followed by redouble, and you escape into a zero MP score.

P_Marlowe
Pass, wtp? I have told my story, you have to limit your hand, and if it goes pass, pass, partner knows, what to do, if he has a hand worth acting. With kind regardsMarlowe
foo
what's wrong with (a 2nd) X? It tries to tell the same story twice. What TimG and Frances said. Dead on. Pass. In tempo.
han
I agree with foo, this pass is as clear as they come.
Codo
I agree with Justin who agreed with Hannie, who agreed with TIm and foo. They agreed with Frances and Hannie, so maybe Hannie will agree with me too.
bid_em_up
what's wrong with x? Did your hand suddenly improve? You told your story with your first double. No need to tell it again.
pclayton
Wow, the first double was marginal and now you want to act again? Bidding is pretty psycho here, but I've had partners and opponents act in this seat with hands like this.

jdeegan
Err... ditto. Why did someone bid other? :) I bid 'other' so as not to affect the forum's vote. On the actual hand, my partner made the atrocious bid of double. My hand:[hv=d=w&v=n&s=s542haj976dj93cq8]133|100|Scoring: MP1♥-Dbl-1♠-P1NT-Dbl-2♥-DblP-P-2♠-DblP-P-P[/hv]I hit 2♥, and when 2♠ came back to me, I envisioned partner as being 4-0-5-4 or 4-0-4-5 or the like with 13+ HCP, so, DUH, I hit 2♠. We held it to three.
Free
Seems like a clear pass to me: I have defense, a clear lead and partner won't have a 4 card support (or he'll be very weak).
