Edmunte1
You hold in second seat, at love all, this rara avis:[hv=d=e&v=n&s=shadaqj532ckqj942]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv]and RHO opens 2♦ MULTI (weak in one major or strong NT) What's your plan for the bird? cnszsun
4NT (if it showed minors), planning to raise partner's 5 to 6 next round.
Codo
4NT (if it showed minors), planning to raise partner's 5 to 6 next round. yes give up on grands If 5 NT shows this hand, this is fine too, but I am not sure if pd will understand this. But he surely will understand 4 NT followed by 6 in his minor.
skjaeran
5NT.With ♣A and ♦K partner will definitely bid the grand. I hope he won't with only one of them.....

Free
4NT followed by 5NT, should be grand slam try...
Codo
4NT followed by 5NT, should be grand slam try... as is 4 NT followed by a raise, isn´t it? After all you bid slam opposite a possible non fitting yarb.So pd with xxx, xxxx,Kx,Axxx will at least think about 7 Club after the bidding .... 4 NT 5 ♣ 6 ♣
han
4NT followed by 5NT should show a preference for the minor that partner did not bid imo. Over my 5NT partner might bid 7 with only the club ace, but then we might still make 7.
ycos
Forester work herei play 4♣ 55+ minor preemptive 4♦ 55+ minor GFWith this hand i bid 4♦ , and after 5♣ or 5♦ bid 5♠
keylime
I'm in the 4NT and raise boat too here. I think 5NT is too anti-positional here and leads to easier sacs (heck they may have six of a major on this construction for all I know!) whereagles
Dbl and cue at the 5-level later.

I mean, 5NT is slower, so should show an even stronger hand.

It would be nice to be able to distinguish between a 6m-bid with first-round control in both major suit, and a 6m-bid without. Then again, this is probably not on the top-ten wishlist for gadgets to add to our vanilla bidding system
