Secret admirers at Netlog

I got an invitaion from someone on Netlog who "wanted to become my friend". Now odds are of course that it's just some bored teenager who indiscriminately sends invitations. Yet it could be that he/she is a profesional peer, or maybe a BBF poster.

I couldn't find any information about the person at Netlog. Just a nickname and the accept/reject option. Don't Netlog users have blogs, or at least profiles or posting records?

Of course in the absense of more information I will not react. If he/she is serious, he/she will know how to find me. OTOH it would be nice to have some semi-automated tool that keeps track of changing contact information and virtual identities of IRL friends. Maybe Netlog is just that?

I never heard about Netlog. Is it a "must"?

It's another of all these internet societies where you can be a member, put your personal information (or not?), find friends, make a blog, put pictures etc., etc. Like Facebook, which has grown immencely in Norway the last year - and probably over the world.

I've got several invitations to Facebook lately - all from bridge players. So far I've rejected all, I haven't got the time or interest to get involved (maybe I spend to much time here at BBF <_< ).

I have never heard of Netlog, but Facebook is really a lot of fun, and is great for keeping track of what all your friends are doing - I think its worth joining.
