Flifli
Hi!I am looking for a new BBO partner. A real one, which I practise and learn a system with an agree convention and stuff... Until now it was like some different p's, but everyone playing no real system, kind of atmosphere like in the MBC. But I would like to be able to bid a consequent sequence with no misunderstandings. It would be nice if the system would be something different than SAYC because I don't like SAYC. As to my person: I am 21 years old, German and study medicine. My Nickname is Flifli. I am not very experienced because till now I have just played on the BBO and no real toruney, but I want to change this. However I am not bad, but not the best. I've been taught for many years by my father playing with my family and I think I can honestly rate myself as advanced compared to the other players on the BBO. Would be glad if someone answer. I don't think there will be many language problems as I speak German, Polish, English, French and Italian... Hope to hear from someone... P_Marlowe
Hi Phillip, in case you are also looking for a face to face partner, you can try the DOUBL, a german mailinglist, and lots of german bridge playsersreceive the mails and read the mails, althoughthere are not many posts anymore. The e-Mail adress is doubl@mlsmtp.imperia.de. Depending on the place, where you currentlystudy, you may even be able to join a bridgeclub which recruits its membership from the stundent of nearby universities. I live near Heidelberg, and I know of#1 a Bridge club in Darmstadt, very good play e.g. one pair, part of our current woman nationalnational team plays there + players, who have won german championships and good atmosphere #2 a Bridge club in Mannheim, not as good as the clubin Darmstadt, but the atmosphere is also very good, but it may be harder to find a partner in Mannheim With kind regardsMarlowe PS: Gerben and Chicken may also be able to help youfinding a suitable club. Gerben42
Hi, maybe if you could write here or privately where you are from. I have a reasonably good idea which young players live near you. You might also be interested to know there is a yearly "young players" bridge camp in Rieneck (near Würzburg), http://www.juniorbridge.de. There might still be some room between 1st and 5th of August but I'm not sure, if you are interested just write the committee.

Codo
