Pass. Never bid weak vs weak, they have probable slam, and partner is responsable for his opening, certainly with this vulnerability.

guess i'd have to pass, vulnerable.. but not vul against vul ops i think some thought should be given to redouble.. i think my lho has a spade stack (if rho's x is t/o), and my rdbl now makes rho guess what his pard's pass means.. might also keep them out of slam.. course it also might go for 8500 or so :D

To rescue would mean playing at the 3 level doubled, so I would need to make 2 extra tricks to improve the situation.

 

With any luck, LHO will bid some number of NT, or partner will have opened 2S with something like 6 spades and 5 diamonds, and will rescue himself. I don't expect either scenario to happen very often!
