Codo Posted June 26, 2007 Report Share Posted June 26, 2007 Pd has enough diamonds to bid 4 Diamond all on his own but did not open. He has a hand unsuitable for an opening so maybe has a a kind of two suiter, or it is possible for him to have a hand to strong for a weak 3 or 4 Diamond but too weak for 1 Diamond? (These hands do not exist for me, but he can be different). I doubt that he has 7 diamonds and 4 to 5 clubs. In that case he had bid at least 3 Diamonds after the 1 Club opening. I play him for 7 Diamonds, 4 Heart and 2 Spades and lead a club. Opps may have an undisclosed double fit and even if not, they may had finessed the king anyway. I'm guessing his diamonds are moderate (although he rebid them LOL), but his clubs could be good.
