mikeh Posted June 24, 2007 Report Share Posted June 24, 2007 I think S should jump in ♠s: personally, I'd have jumped to 3♠ over 2♥, to show a very good, long suit. Had I rebid 2♠, which is forcing one round, so I am usually going to survive, I'd jump to 4♠ next time. The partnership question is just how good a suit do we show with a jump on the second round? If it is played as solid, then we have to defer the jump... but at some point we have to reassure partner that we are not bidding on KQ9xxxx.
