DWM
[hv=s=sakjhakj54dac7642]133|100|[/hv] your partner opens a mini NT (10-12) Firstly would you start to look for a slam with this hand? Tools available to you 2C StaymanJacoby Transfers, after reply straight jump to 4NT is quantitive.3 of a suit slam interest in that suit. If you would look for a slam what is your bidding plan? vang
transfer then 4NT quant seems ok to me.
Fluffy
Yes I think about slam. I would start with 2♦, and the bid 3♣, if partner then bids 3♥ we should be on the way to 6, otherwise 3NT is enough.
kenrexford
Depends upon a tool that you may or may not play. What about 2♦...3♣? I know that the club suit is outrageously poor, but this allows partner to occasionally bid 3♥, agreeing hearts, with lots of room to explore. If 3♥ shows extras, 4♥ being minimum, that's nice too. If 3♣ is merely one-round forcing, but possibly weak (can stop at 3♥ or 4♣), that works also, as you get the same information. If partner raises to 4♣, whatever that means, you need a follow-up agreement to get out at the same 4NT that 2♦...4NT would yield.
whereagles
I'll start with a transfer. If pard super accepts showing something in clubs, I might think of carrying on. Otherwise just follow up with 3NT.
