how to bid a long club suit after 1D open?

Playing 2/1 or SAYC, my hand has a solid or almost solid Club suit like this:

AKJ10xxx, no valuable high cards in other suit.

If partner opens 1 Major, i can respond with 1NT, rebid Club suit later.

If opening is 1Di, what can i do?

I just want to know whether there is a general treatment, so no vulnerability or specific hand type mentioned.

Of course, you have no majors to bid and can't raise diamond.

Well, we solve this problem by playing

1D/H/S 3m as 9-11 - at least 6 good cards. What you gain on the swings, you lose on the roundabout however.

Another possibility is to play a forcing NT to 1M, followed by 3C. Over a 1D opening you are stuck with 1N I guess.

Mike lawrence suggest you bif 2c and rebid 3c to show this kind hand. 3c is passable. i.e, 2/1 is NOT abosolutely game forcing. though some play 1M-3m to show this kind hand.

If pd responded with 2N, then you shold not be shy to raise to 3N.

I play 2/1 over Majors as 100 % GameForcing, but 2http://mnet.bg/~mfn/c.gif over 1http://mnet.bg/~mfn/d.gif as forcing for 1 round and if I rebid it, it shows a hand like that. Maybe a little bit better, something like AKQ10xx.
