inquiry
I missed an interesting team match last last night involving a number of BBO Forum regulars. I was virtually kibizting the hands played last night today when I ran accross this one. [hv=d=s&v=b&n=sq86hk95d6cakjt63&s=saj542hat8dajt98c]133|200|Scoring: IMP1♠ - 2♣2♦ - 4♠6♠ - Pass[/hv] The opening lead was the ♠ TEN and north played the ♠7 as south won the JACK. Things look a little bleak, but it can be made on normal lines of play. What is your strategy to take 12 tricks.
Guest Jlall
it looks strongly to me like spades are Kx onside. The 7 would be a very good falsecard from K73, but much more likely is LHO has T93. T3 would be a pretty bad lead, especially on this auction. If spades are Kx onside I just need nothing terrible to happen in clubs and I make. If spades are not Kx onside I will fall back on ace and ruff a diamond, AK of clubs pitching a diamond, float the CJ pitching a diamond, ruff club heart over and pitch diamond on club. This needs Qx of clubs or Qxxx of clubs on right.
