Winstonm
(emphasis added)May 9, 2007 NEW YORK (AP) -- Maybe they're outside in the garden. They could be playing softball. Or perhaps they're just plain bored. In TV's worst spring in recent memory, a startling number of Americans drifted away from television the past two months: More than 2.5 million fewer people were watching ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox than at the same time last year, statistics show. Any thoughts?

Gerben42
1000 channels with junk. No wonder people don't watch anymore. Although... that never stopped them before! Must be the internet.
EricK
1000 channels with junk. No wonder people don't watch anymore. Although... that never stopped them before! Must be the internet. Or maybe with 1000 channels with a variety people are watching niche channels (eg cooking channels, fashion channels, wildlife channels etc) which cater to their specific needs rather than the "generic" channels which try to cater to everybody. Al_U_Card
The "porn to boring" factor means that the "tittilation" that used to suffice from TV is now not attracting the same riff-raff....lol
