mr1303
KxxxA10xxxxQ10x You hold this collection. Partner opens 1H, you bid 1NT (forcing)Partner now reverses with 2S What do you try now? Would the natural bid of 3D here be forcing?
pbleighton
3D would be forcing, but I bid 3NT. Peter
mike777
3D would be forcing, but I bid 3NT. Peter ditto 2nt is a catchall weak bid that is not game forcing and does not promise stoppers but partner's 2s reverse does promise one more bid from opener so 2nt cannot be passed, or should not be. B) Make the queen of clubs the jack and I would rebid 2nt.
jdonn
Ok I'll crack. http://squeezingthedummy.blogspot.com/2006...-transfers.html 3♣ then 3NT. What could be easier!
mikeh
Ok I'll crack. http://squeezingthedummy.blogspot.com/2006...-transfers.html 3♣ then 3NT. What could be easier! I like the transfer idea: I have been playing transfers in all kinds of auctions... to the point that I didn't think there were any transfers I didn't play, other than transfer responses to our takeout doubles B) But here is a new one: now, if I can only get my partners (who already think I am insane) to agree :)

P_Marlowe
Hi, 2NT would still be Lebensohl / Ingberman, what ever.If you play that, 3D would be forcing, without that agreement I would say 3D is stillforcing, ... but if opener passes, it should be ok. With kind regardsMarlowe.
whereagles
3NT. 3♦ could work better, but requires a magic hand in pard.
mr1303
Partner held: AQ10xKJ9xxKxAx and decided to pass my 3D. We play Lebensohl in 1NT (bid) and 2Y X P situations, but hadn't discussed it. We have now :)
